RaceOne Wheels – Warranty & Consumer Policy

At RaceOne Wheels, we are committed to delivering high-performance wheels backed by dependable service and customer care. Every new wheelset purchased directly from our website or from one of our certified dealers comes with a 3-year limited warranty. This reflects our dedication to building products that riders can trust, mile after mile.

Standard Warranty Policy

Warranty Period

  • Coverage begins on the date your wheels are delivered.

  • The warranty lasts for 3 years from that date.

  • Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchase and does not restart when parts are replaced.

Warranty Eligibility

  • All new wheels purchased from www.raceonewheels.com or authorized dealers listed on our website are covered.

  • Coverage applies only to the original owner and is non-transferable.

  • Wheels purchased secondhand or from unauthorized sellers are not covered.

What’s Covered

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the following parts:

  • Rims

  • Hubs

What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not cover issues caused by external factors, misuse, or normal wear and tear, including:

  • Bearings, valves, quick releases, thru-axles, and brake pads.

  • Improper assembly, poor maintenance, or the use of incompatible parts.

  • Damage from accidents, crashes, misuse, or heat exposure (such as from vehicle exhaust).

  • Use of straight-gauge spokes.

  • Exceeding maximum weight or tire pressure limits listed for the wheels.

  • Riding outside the intended purpose (e.g., using a non-eMTB wheel on an eMTB).

  • Wheels bought from unauthorized resellers.

Shipping & Replacement Policy

  • If a product defect is verified as a manufacturing issue, RaceOne will cover all shipping costs.

  • If the issue is caused by external factors or misuse, shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

  • If the original wheel model is no longer available, we will provide the latest equivalent model at no extra cost.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Complete the Warranty Claim Form (available on our website).

  2. Include clear photos or videos of the affected area.

  3. Our support team will review the case and guide you through the next steps, including service or replacement options.

Service Locations

RaceOne wheels can be serviced at our headquarters or through our authorized service centers. After a claim is reviewed, our team will direct you to the nearest available service point.

XTRA-RACE: Extended Warranty Program

We’re excited to offer the XTRA-RACE Extended Warranty, which extends coverage to 5 years from the original purchase date.

With XTRA-RACE, riders receive the same protection as the standard warranty plus crash replacement support for added confidence.

This program is currently available on select models, and we are working to expand availability across more of our lineup.

Consumer Advice

Product Life Cycle

Every cycling component has a natural service life—including wheels, frames, handlebars, and tires. Durability depends on factors such as rider weight, maintenance, terrain, riding style, and accidents.

Regular Inspections

We strongly recommend routine inspections by a qualified mechanic to check for:

  • Cracks or micro-fractures

  • Corrosion or wear

  • Paint damage or deformation

  • Dents or other structural issues

Not all problems are visible, so professional inspection fluids or tools may help detect hidden damage.

Replacing Parts

Any part that shows signs of fatigue, damage, or reduced integrity should be replaced immediately. Riding on compromised parts increases the risk of failure and potential injury.

Safety First

Cycling involves inherent risks. To ride as safely as possible, we recommend:

  • Regular professional maintenance and inspections

  • Wearing a properly fitted helmet

  • Using bike lights and reflective gear for visibility

  • Adding rear-view mirrors where possible

  • Avoiding aggressive riding in unsafe conditions

While these precautions cannot eliminate all risks, they significantly enhance rider safety.
